The first annual "Shaken, Not Stirred Olympics" took place at
The Bite of Seattle, July 22 & 23, 2000.
The events were sponsored by Outpatient Radio and The Buzz 100.7, and created such a stir, that the Seattle Center Events Committee threatened to pull the plug on numerous occasions.
Hundreds were in attendance for the games,
which included, among other things, a cold hot dog eating competition (featuring nearly 30 competitors,
ranging in weight from 130 to 450 lbs), as well as the "Great Hot Dog Cake Bake-Off," and the crowning of King and Queen Cranium 2000 to the male and female with the largest head.
